What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience to perform work in a research oriented environment including planning and conducting hand-on laboratory experiments, analyzing results, and writing reports.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team conducting scientific or industrial work.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.

  • Demonstrated record of reliability and versatility.

  • Demonstrated competency with computers and software applications for word processing, data processing (e.g., Excel/Origin/Matlab), and data visualization.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with additive manufacturing.

  • Experience with synthetic organic and/or polymer chemistry

  • Experience with ceramic processing techniques

  • Experience with materials characterization techniques.

  • Experience with experimental control programming (e.g., LabView, Python, etc.)

  • Commitment to achieving results in a complex social and organizational setting.

Education:

A B.S. from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree program in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field completed within past 3 years or soon to be completed, with cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).

Additional Details:
